Complete Carnage

A horde survival shooter based in the bodycam first person perspective. With a realistic feel, sway and aesthetic, you will feel every shot, kill and death.

While this game is still in development, it is a secondary project. I wanted to release this to see if it is something that people would play or if it's something I should just toss and start over. This originally started as a story-based idea, but as I was building systems, I figured a fun way to test it would be to build out a horde survival mode, here we are. There are quite a few bugs, most of them revolving around specific things like powerups. Currently this game is only available here on itch as I need to flesh out the systems in the game and create a better feeling for the game.

Current Features:

1. Powerups (like COD)
2. Endless hordes of creatures
3. Purchasable door to go back to your hideout
4. A few weapons to pickup and use
5. Purchasable character apparel (in-game points)
6. Unlockable skill tree (Used when you unlock the trader room. Talk to the trader and you can upgrade the skill tree. UI is currently a bit clunky, sorry!)
7. One level to play at the moment. Basically done, just needs navigation fixes and more love. More levels to come!
8. Test level to test out weapons and see the core mechanics of the game

Current bug that I'm aware of:

1. Max ammo powerup and Instant kill powerup don't work sometimes.
2. Boss spawns even when the area isn't accessible to the player. (currently working on a fix)
3. Zombies get stuck in certain areas of the main gameplay level. You may need to backtrack to the spawn area to kill all zombies in the level, sorry!
4. Weapons are currently hard to see, I do have visuals added to them in the current build, but it is taking some time to get this build out as I had to reset my PC and it broke a lot of the project.
